Meet our newest craftswoman, Rachel Sauer! As a family-owned business, it’s important for us to maintain our legacy. That’s why the owner, Ron Sauer, was very proud when his daughter became interested in woodworking, too. We're delighted to share a glimpse of Rachel's role at Excelsior, and the unique qualities she brings to our work environment.

Rachel's role at Excelsior can be best described as versatile. Known for her adaptability and eager nature to learn, Rachel is our "go-to" team member. Her current focus lies in the coatings department, where she's been engrossed in understanding the different materials and methods used. However, it's not just the materials she's attracted to. Rachel thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoying the constant flow of tasks and responsibilities. In her words, she "likes always doing something".

Outside of her professional commitments, Rachel's interests are as unique and dynamic as her role here. She is an avid equestrian, owning eight horses and frequently going on trail rides. Her passion for horses mirrors the dedication she brings to her work.

She's a two-time national champion and was ranked fifth in the world, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in every field she ventures into.

Rachel's philosophy of kindness, understanding, and perseverance pervades her work at Excelsior. We are incredibly grateful for her contributions, her lively spirit, and the positive energy she infuses into our workspace.
