Western Red Cedar
Western Red Cedar (WRC) is an exceptional choice for exterior siding. WRC is lightweight, easy to work with, and is naturally resistant to moisture, decay and insect damage. This species has a beautiful warm grain and the ability to take a variety of coatings (stains, primers, and topcoats). When maintained properly, this product has excellent longevity and is more eco-friendly to the environment compared to composites. When cedar is sourced responsibly, CO2 gases are absorbed from the environment instead of released during manufacturing as with composite materials.
